1957 Chevy

1957 CHEVROLET FUEL INJECTION This ’57 was built by Chevrolet at Oakland CA in late 1956. One of the first 57’s that could have been ordered with the factory fuel injection. This 150 2 door was the street version of the famed “Black Widow” used in the very beginning of factory sponsored NASCAR racing. Art Fernandez at Classic Auto Restoration did a complete rotisserie, frame off restoration; meticulously repainting, replating, polishing, or restoring each and every part to its as-new condition. Burbank Speed Shop rebuilt the engine to its original factory specifications (283 H.P., 283 C.I., 10.5:1 Compression, Hi-Lift Cam). Engine # 3731548 dated K276 Assembly # F1120 EK Heads # 3731539 dated K296 & K246 Transmission 3 Speed Stick Rear End 4:11 All other components are either original or correct for this car. Please note the absence of any accessories. Delete Radio, Delete Heater, Delete Clock, Delete Cigar Lighter. Cars like these were built and equipped by the factory for one thing…RACING! Restored to the highest level by Art Fernandez. If you have any interest in buying this car or would like to talk about your restoration project, please call us.
